NEW YEARS!!!

Finally going to be spending New Years in VEGAS with my friends!! How are you spending yours?! I haven't been in Vegas in over 7 something years I believe. I'm really excited to finally get to go again and to celebrate the New Years with my good friends. The only thing that sucks is that there are 3 couple and then just poor alone me :( I won't have anyone to kiss again to start 2012. Yet, i'm okay with that since 2012 will hopefully be the last year then the world will end and I won't have anyone to cray over. Hohoho, Yes I am bitter. It is what it is. Relationships only lead to more problems than I think it's really worth anyway. I will make the trip the best that I can in order to make it a great end to 2011 and wonderful beginning to 2012.  I will do my best to take some sexy pics and hopefully some video too to document this sexual journey into the new year.

I'm going to try and make this one short....HAPPY HOLIDAYS to all my family and friends out there! I wish I could be more happy around the holidays, but it makes me sad sometimes around this time of year. Holidays brings back too many memories from my childhood both good and bad. YET! I will try my best to make the best of everything and hopefully bring smiles to my family and friends!

About to head out for some sushi lunch with friends, a little more X-mas shopping then Mission Inn holiday lights in downtown. So far sooooo good. I'll see how it all turns out today. Plans for X-mas eve not down in stone yet, but planning on spending it with friends also since i'll be working X-mas day :( Work is difficult when you have to be nice to strangers all day long (especially when they aren't pretty). HOHOHOOOOOOOO!!! Maybe i'll add more to this post later. Maybe.....but probably not.

Comikaze Adventures!!!

My adventures to Comikaze started on Friday the day before the event. I didn't want to drive back home then come back again to meet my friend Kris so I spent the night at Josie's place. You remember Josie right? from my other post? Malinda gave her drunk ass a talking to in the LA fair videos I posted earlier. We started Friday night watching a movie of my pick! I choose Attack the Block!!! Black British kids fighting aliens monsters in the ghetto?!!! UHHHH... YES, PLEASE!! I thought it was a good movie. Good action scenes and funny at times. I think Sam and Princess Tacos enjoyed the movie also. I recommend the movie as it plays with class structure as anyone can really be a hero, even ghetto children.

Air Duster

Well I have another one for you today! Couple days ago at work what would be discovered by the dumpster? You guess it, a passed out guy! YAY! Finally something exciting happened! Guy was knocked out by the dumpster and what do you think he was surround by? Cans of Air Duster! YUM! Cause you know that stuff is fun to inhale and pass out from. Well apparently he wasn't too good at it and went unconscious. Silly idiot was lik sleeping ugly next to his three cans of Air Duster. Yet, what was even more funny was that he was apparently asking for signatures for some petition! The ground was littered with the papers all around him. I guess he got bored asking for signatures, and decided to take a break. A cigarette maybe, but a few cans of compressed air? Even better! gets me full every time . Ambulance was called and his dumb ass was taken away.

The best part? I got two cans of Air Duster for my computer!!! YAY! Mmmm, well one can for my keyboard and one for me! Mmmmmm...... Cleans the body inside out! j/k two cans for me!!!

Also a car ran into the Subway next door, but there were no fatal injuries :( so that was boring. ::giggles::

The Black Factor!

I think I know what I'm missing in life....a large black lady friend!!!! OHHHH, I want one sooooo bad! Going to start auditions for one. Instead of the X Factor it's going to be the Black Factor. Aunt Hong's Wedding!!!

Congrats to my beautiful aunt Hong and new uncle Adam!! They got married Sat. Oct. 1st. The wedding took place at one of the gayest places on Earth, Disneyland. It just happened they got married on gay day at Disneyland and both had red as it's theme color. My cousin Angela and I of course wore red to celebrate!! Cause we tough bitches!! Don't worry Melissa, we gonna come kick that creeper's ass for you at school too! Another great thing to celebrate at the wedding was that my I got to see my dad again! I haven't seen him since I last visited Cambodia years ago. Also got to see my little brother again too! it was a day with a lot to celebrate. One of the best days this year so far.

Cherry Blossom Festival in Little Tokyo

Wow, what can I say about the difference from this year and last? It was almost like night and day. Last year the festival took place as it was scheduled and was a great success. The festival was spread across Little Tokyo, and it was filled with people enjoying all the festivities. This year not so much. A certain earthquake rocked Japan right before the festival was scheduled to take place. I assume they didn't want to celebrate a festival right after such a terrible disaster, but they should have. If they were smart they could of turned the festival into a fundraising event also, and it would of been very successful I think. BUT! instead they pushed it back a few months, and what was left was a parking lot filled with a few sad booths. I would of taken a picture, but it wasn't even worth taking my camera out.

LA Fair 2011

Did everyone get a chance to visit the fair this year yet?! For you who don't know, a fair is a place where people go to walk around in the hot ass sun for hours doing random things. Some random things may be eating over priced fair food such as, deep fried whatever you can dip in batter like Oreos or pickles. Or a giant turkey leg, but the newest thing I saw this year was a block of fries. Yes, it was giant deep fried block of curly fries. I even saw a chili cheese covered block. It was sooo nasty that you couldn't help but want to try it. Sam bought a block and we all had some.

I worked on the episodes of Richard & Company last night and I am almost done with editing them all for this season. There was just one episode that got messed up and I have to redo that one when I get the chance to. Each episode will consist of an interview and a bonus footage clip at the end of the interview. I just did a mass group interview one by one and will be splitting each person as an episode this time. I'm still looking for a good song for the intro. Any suggestions? AX Day 0 - Day of Forgotten.....

It has almost been so long already since it was AX. It always goes by in a sexual frenzy of a flash. Of course my AX started off with a funny sexy start. Plans for AX Day 0

It's approaching fast like a black person in a track race. Day 0 that is. I think I have everything ready for AX this year. I just have to finish packing and preparing myself for all the crazy anime fans that will start to stink up the convention by the end of day 1. I enjoy K-pop probably for the fact that I get to see Asian faces since there is still such a lack of it in American media. Is it just me or was there more Asian faces in television back in the 90's than there is now? It sure does feel that way. Almost like it's we are getting less exposure. So I turn my head and ears towards the east where I can satisfy my Yellow Fever.

Squatting like a good Asian and reading manga

If you already didn't know this past Friday June 10th was my birthday. Another year has gone by so fast and yet I am able to fight ravages of time and stay so beautiful. I'm not sure what it is, but I do seem to age more beautifully like a black woman. She maybe 85 but still look like if she was in her 40s. They do say that black don't crack! Also someone said fat don't crack either, but that's due to all that stuff in McDonalds that must of preserved the person.

Just a warning that I will spoil the movie for you if you read this. So you're welcome ahead of time because this movie was so bad and boring that I have suffered in your place for you. First of all Jubilee is not a main character in this movie as you would all of loved her to be. I know I was disappointed when the most yellow thing in the movie were Kevin Bacon's old teeth. Jubilee you are my teenage dream with your short middle aged Korean lady haircut, blue dish gloves and yellow raincoat. You can shoot your sparkles into my Asian eyes anytime. But be warned when I wink my sparkles will even blind the sun. Wait, what was I suppose to do again? Oh, yeah the film was so bad I rather talk about Jubilee, my Asian sparkle shaker.

Staff training for the Manga Lounge went very well and we actually had the entire staff make it! I'm glad everyone took the time to come and join us. It's good to round up the staff before the convention starts. Once it starts then it's going to get more crazy than a ho in church! This year we introduced three new staffers into the Manga Lounge family. Angela, Simpson and Kristina! They will be my new Richard's Angels.

I'm ALIVE!

Sorry for not having been updating my blog in awhile, but I've moved and haven't had internet set up. I'm borrowing the neighbor's teehee. I was just worried about my MILLIONS of readers so I just wanted to give a little update to satisfy your hungry for my sexy thoughts.

Anime Expo is coming up and I'm a little excited since it's my first as manager for Manga Lounge. I lied I don't get excited about things because they may lead to disappointment. Should be lot's of fun this year (hopefully). Me running a department? It's either going to be great or things are going to catch on fire. Let's hope there is no fires since I didn't budget any fire extinguishers for our room.

I get to manga shop for the lounge, but i've been out of the loop so long that I don't even know where to start or what's good out now. I will just have to judge a manga by it's cover like I do people since its much easier than having to read the back cover or taking the time to get to know a person. SOOOO... no ugly covers or ppl :) j/k or am I?

I guess this post will have to satisfy my readers for now. So read it slowly or multiple times to get your daily fix. Since i'm not sure when I will update next. It may be next month or later tonight. Depends on my mood really, and my moods be swinging like a drunk hooker.

Riverside Lunar New Years!

How was everyone's lunar new year? Sexy? I hope so. Last week a few friends and I attended the 1st annual Riverside Lunar New Years celebration downtown Riverside on Mission Inn. St. The street was closed down for the 1st ever new years celebration. The year of the rabbit is now upon us. Some famous rabbits that we all know are Allen Ruiz, the Tu twins Michael and Steven, and Albert Einstein. Less famous ones such as Tiger Woods and Whitney Houston are also rabbits of the chocolate kind. Not the good kind of chocolate. The last year's Halloween chocolate kind.

I was surprised people showed up.

 The main section of the celebration was held in front of the Riverside Library. They had performances such as little children doing Bollywood performances, traditional Japanese dancing and also martial arts exhibitions. I enjoyed watching the little Indian children dancing to the dance songs of Bollywood with my friend Sam. I especially enjoyed the boy who didn't really know all the moves or he was just stage shy. Either way it made the performance better.

For some strange reason Sam had never tried takoyaki. The delicious molten lava hot octopus balls. So of course Sam had to try some for the first time. He wondered why it was still soft in the middle, but that is how it is suppose to be. The takoyaki was 7 balls for $5. Most of his balls were not inflated. Sam had gotten sad octopus balls.

I wished they had more food stands then just the  five or six they had, but as the first festival it still was a good start. They also had Hawaiian sausages. They were only called it Hawaiian because I assume it had pineapples, which it did. Who do we all know that loves sausages AND Hawaiian? our resident tan man Dustin. Who will pay 9 dollars for a sausage in a bun! 9 dollars! 9!!!! Let me catch my breath.

Of course what Lunar New Years doesn't have dancing lions! They had two yellow ones and a black one. You can guess which one I had my eye on. ::wink:: Taiko drums could also be heard, but not seen as I can see old people playing drums on youtube, and didn.t want to gather around with the other people.

As the day came to a close Oanh and I ran around grabbing as much free crap as they could give out. We got so much useless crap. Except that toothbrush kit that came in handy later that night. The night ended with a display of fireworks that were a very nice end to a good day of food and friends. I assume they just hired the x-man Jubilee and had her on top of the library blasting off her powers. We all know she had nothing else to do, and any paying gig is worth it.

Of course you end the night with more food and we ate at the Spaghetti Factory. Dustin had the nerve to order the same as me. I guess he has learned if I like it then it must be good. He should of used this logic when I was not eating a $9 sausage.

Silly David, You can't eat crab with a straw!

 
I do love me some buffets and Pala has a great one. There are so many to pick from and hence the name Choices for the Buffet. Whenever we can my friends and I like to go on a Saturday night for the buffet since it has all the delicious crab legs you can eat! A plate alone of the crabs gets your money worth. For about $25 with the member card Privileges. I went to the Crab Shack or something and for about the same price all I got was a little basket w/ some crab and butter in a paper cup.

Someone here likes his sausage.

If seafood is not your thing then just take yourself to the meat stations where they cook up your meat right there for you. Steak, burgers, giant sausages cooked all to your liking. After stuffing myself with so much crab legs I went back for some other food. I enjoy the seafood so I attacked all the shrimp dishes that they had.

Poor Mr. Crabs! Where will Spongebob work now?

What do you do when you are so full and cannot eat another bite? You take yourself to the desert bar! At this point I was about to toss my cookies, but that only made me want some cookies. Instead though I opted for the delicious banana crepe.

OANH! Save me some!

How do you end your buffet experience? Food coma? I couldn't end with a food coma since I had to drive, but I ended with something even better!

What do people do after spending a long day in LA? EAT! and that is exactly what we did a few weeks ago. After spending the day with good friend and seeing Little Tokyo and Chinatown we had to pay Koreatown a visit. Can't leave Korea out or they might complain. So with Arnoldo leading the way to food we ended up at Manna. It's a good thing we arrived before the rush of people who came about a hour after us. The place was completely packed by the time we were half way in with out food. 

Domo was  ready to dive into all the side dishes.

They waitress said that all the grills were not working that night, but I know the real reason. All the meat orders were just taken and cooked in the kitchen instead of on the table grill. That took the fun out of grilling our own meat, but then it let us probably eat more. With all those people on a Sat. night they probably didn't want to wash all those grills. Well they don't wash it, but the lone Mexican man in a little outdoor shack has to was them all by himself. Just him and his little radio playing Spanish music as he washed dishes in the cold. I felt bad for a few seconds.

SIZZLE I SAY!

For such a large place the selection was very few. 16.99 got you AYCE and choices from eight different types of meats. Our group liked the brisket and short rib the most. That and we didn't really get a menu so those two were what we remembered the waitress saying they served. No seafood!? I wanted to watch some little octopuses dance on the grill for me, but sadly there was no delicious dance of the sea. Our group of six destroyed six or seven servings of meat, maybe more but it's all hazy because of the food coma that came after.

After inhaling all that food were were pretty much stuffed till the brink of popping. Fighting our way out through the crowd that was trying to get in we made it back outside into the nipple popping cold LA night air. The parking lot was now completely packed with people trying to find a place to park to eat at Manna. Asians all driving near each other made me nervous, but luckily there were no car explosions this time. The food was good for the price, but the company made it so much better!
